Not a Mouse Squad - a Student-led Tech Integration Team
How can we build a culture where students are empowered to share their voice, be leaders, and make a difference in their school’s tech integration? How can we integrate technology to engage our students in deeper learning? Ask them! This is not your usual mouse squad. These students are a part of a high school tech team in it's 3rd year that supports the entire community of faculty, staff, students, and parents. Hear directly from the Tiger Tech Team. They have been integral in developing our +1 Technology Use Policy, identifying areas of infrastructure need, designing educational opportunities for the community to discuss 21st century citizenship, using social media to provide tech training, tips, and advice, and creating our school's first podcast. These students are excited to share what they have learned as tech leaders and how they are working to engage more students in the process.

Do you want to use video in your classroom? Are you looking to flip your instruction? Come to this session to learn about EdPuzzle, a free web tool that allows you to clip videos that you find online (ex. youtube, vimeo, etc.) or videos that you upload yourself. You can then add in questions that the students have to answer, captions, notes, or your own voice overs, and can monitor if students watch the entire video.
